Negros Occidental provincial government employees, who are regular and casual in status, are expected to receive additional bonuses amounting to P55,000 before the year ends.
This was announced by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson during his 64th birthday celebration Wednesday night, which coincided with the Christmas party of Capitol employees and the switch-on ceremony of the Christmas display at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park in Bacolod City.
Of the amount, P30,000 will be for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus, with an increase of P5,000 compared to last year, and P5,000 for the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI).
He instructed the Provincial Treasurer’s Office to start processing the release of the CNA and PEI to qualified Capitol employees.
On the last week of the year, Capitol employees are also set to receive the Service Recognition Incentive of P20,000 each.
These are given on top of the mid-year bonus, 14th-month pay or year-end bonus, and cash gift received earlier by qualified Capitol employees.
Lacson also ordered the release of P5,000 as gratuity pay for all job order and contract of service employees of the provincial government. | GB
