Art aficionados, families, and friends gathered at Orange Project in Art District Mandalagan, Bacolod City, for the Nov. 16 opening of the three exhibits that will all run until Jan. 3 next year.

The works of Hilario Romeo Campos III, Susanito Sarnate, and his daughter, Vincent, are now available for viewing at the main gallery, and at the second level, respectively.

Campos’ “Same World, Different Dimensions”, is inspired by his childhood experiences growing up in Manapla, Negros Occidental. The artist draws from Filipino folklore and popular culture to create fantastical creatures and landscapes, a press release from Orange Project said.

Susanito’s “Satyr” delves into the profound impact of human intelligence and the ethical implications of technological advancements. The artist explores themes of genetic engineering, biotechnology, and the potential consequences of human intervention in the natural world.

Vincent’s “Hamu-ok”, her first solo exhibition, is a collection of artworks that explores the often-overlooked need for bedtime stories among adults, and aims to offer solace and inspiration, evoking a sense of calm and wonder for those seeking inner peace and tranquility. | Orange Project photos
