Some 340 business permits were issued at the online and manual processing of permits and licenses by the Bacolod Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), as of Jan. 9, the city said.

The BPLO already received 8,011 business registration applications, with 1,710 online via https://ebpls.bacolodcity.gov.ph, and 6,301 manually processed.

The city’s Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is ongoing at the 4th floor of the Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Mondays to Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., until Feb. 15.

To deliver more efficient and convenient services, the Victorias City BOSS was launched Jan. 9 at City Mall Victorias.

Business permit applications and renewal are accommodated until Feb. 15, the city said.

The BPLO, headed by officer-in-charge Merlita Bayaban, Bureau of Fire Protection, City Treasurer’s Office, City Planning and Development Office, City Health Office, City Engineering Office, VCenro, City Assessor’s Office, City Veterinary Office, Department of Trade and Industry, and the Philippine National Police are the government agencies available at the mall to facilitate inquiries and transactions from taxpayers, it added.

The Cadiz City Treasurer’s Office, meanwhile, said renewal of business permits will be catered to at the BOSS at City Hall 2 Building Mondays to Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on all Saturdays of this month, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Payments received until Jan. 20 will be without penalty, while fines will be imposed on payments made from Jan. 21 to 31, the CTO said, adding that those concerned can contact the office at (034) 474-3551, email cto.businesstaxdiv@gmail.com or ctocadizcity@yahoo.com, or via the Cadiz City Treasurer’s Office FB page.

In Sipalay, its BOSS will accept applications until Jan. 20.

For new business permits and renewal, applicants should bring with them a business barangay clearance, sanitary permit for food handler, BFP certificate, previous business permit (for renewal), DTI/SEC/CDA certificate, and authorization or Special Power of Attorney from the owner/president.

In La Carlota City, its BOSS is located at the city gymnasium at Locsin-Ledesma Street.

Offices present at the BOSS include the BPLP, CTO, City Engineer’s, City Planning and Development Office, BFP, PNP, Department of Trade and Industry, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and the Social Security System.

The BOSS remains open until Jan. 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays, except on Jan. 24, the city said./CGC
