A man under monitoring for allegedly engaging in illegal drugs trade was arrested in a buy-bust operation this morning, Nov. 1, in Purok Kawayan, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City.
Elizalde Adorio, 48, of the barangay, was nabbed with 17 sachets of suspected shabu, weighing about five grams and worth P35,000, and P300 in buy-bust money.
The operation was led by Police Station 5 commander, P/Capt. John Christopher Masangkay, with members of the BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit.
Adorio is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 5, and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, on Nov. 2. — MML
