Sanson replaced Pablo Luis Azcona, who was earlier designated as acting SRA head.

He is also affiliated with the Vimaca Planters’ Association, where he served as treasurer and member of the Board of Director, as well as a BOD of the Victorias Agricultural District Farmers’ Cooperative.

Azcona was appointed SRA head on April 20, and took over from Agriculture Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban, who served as officer-in-charge, following the resignation of David John Thaddeus Alba as administrator due to health reasons.

The SRA is under the Department of Agriculture, which is concurrently headed by Marcos./GB
