The six-day Agro-Aqua Trade Fair opened April 26, and will run until May 1, as part of the 35th Ugyonan Festival of the municipality of E. B. Magalona.
Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, who represented Mayor Marvin Malacon, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and joining him were councilors Reylan Gamboa Sr., who chairs the sanggunian Committee on Agriculture, and Jovie Madayag.
Malacon and executive assistant Matthew Louis Malacon also visited the trade fair later.
The trade fair is located beside the public plaza, across the St. Joseph the Worker Parish, an LGU press release said.
It features 18 booths of various stores, companies, and organizations that showcase fresh seafood, including the famous blue crabs, fruits, and vegetables, and the unique products and handicraft of the municipality.
The trade fair is co-organized by the Municipal Agriculture Office, Municipal Tourism Office, and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office. ||
