PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp., that entered into a 25-year Joint Venture Agreement with the Bacolod City Water District in November, listed various projects and programs to ensure a continuous supply of safe and potable water, and as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
These include the detection of visible and non-visible leaks to maintain adequate water pressure for its concessionaires, provision of generator sets to ensure a continuous water supply in case of power interruptions, and nature conservation under the CRS, like the Daloy ng Paglingap Program.
Lily Donasco, PrimeWater Bacolod branch manager, said these projects are just the initial steps to provide safe and potable water supply in the city. “There are a lot more to expect from Prime Water Bacolod,” she added.
Donasco also acknowledged the efforts of Baciwa on environmental initiatives, adding that the partnership would bear more projects in the future.
“PrimeWater Bacolod will continue its best practices and will introduce more projects that will benefit both the concessionaires and the environment,” she added.
For over 30 years, Prime Water has given quality services in the design of water distribution systems, development of water sources, construction and installation of transmission and distribution lines, management of water supply, and operation of septage management facilities, Donasco said. “With water being an essential part of everyone’s life, PrimeWater Bacolod, with its joint venture partner Baciwa, has been working tirelessly together to provide not just potable and reliable water to concessionaires, but also CSR programs. Though these efforts, this precious resource is preserved and will remain sustainable, for now and the future generation as well,” she added. – MML
