A couple was arrested in a police buy-bust operation in Barangay 6-A, Victorias City in Negros Occidental June 29.
The suspects, identified only by their aliases “Jes” and “Lav”, both 33, yielded about 25 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P170,000, as well as the P500 marked bill, a coin purse, and an improvised paper pouch.
The couple is now under the custody of the Victorias City Police Station, and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | TMD
