Three persons died in separate road crash incidents in Cauayan and Manapla, Negros Occidental Wednesday, June 10.
A tricycle driver and his passenger were declared dead on arrival at a medical facility after figuring in an accident at Purok 2 in Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan.
Police investigation showed the two victims, who were riding a Kawasaki motorcycle with a sidecar, were traveling north when they were hit by a Toyota Vios behind them.
Both victims, “She” and “Dolfo”, succumbed to serious injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Vios identified with his alias “Bert”, of Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, was driving without a license.
He is now under the police custody.
In Manapla, the collision of two motorcycles at Km. 39 of the national highway in Barangay Tortosa claimed the life of one of the drivers.
Based on police investigation, a blue 155 Yamaha Aerox motorcycle driven by alias “Jam” stopped at the center of the road and was about to cross the highway when it was hit by another motorcycle, a red Rusi motorcycle, driven by alias “JM”.
Alias “Jam” was declared dead on arrival at the Dr. Ramon B. Gustilo Hospital while alias “JM,” who was brought to Cadiz District Hospital, was under critical condition. | GB
