As thousands of visitors continue to flock the Panaad sa Negros festival sites, sales in the past three days has reached P9.823 million, according to data released by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
The figure is P5.065 million higher than the P4.758 million recorded on the same period in 2025.
The week-long festival will run until April 19.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II thanked the public for their continued support to the Panaad sa Negros Festival, which is now on its 30th year.
The performances of OPM band Ben & Ben and dance group Sexbomb boosted the activities at the festival grounds.
Diaz said Day 3 drew an estimated 21,840 visitors and generated P4.36 million in sales.
On Day 2, a total of P2.077 million sales was recorded while on opening day, P3.385 million.
Based on reports from the Task Force Panaad, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said there are no untoward incidents despite the large number of festival-goers.
Diaz also reported that traffic around the Panaad Park remained manageable.
Much bigger crowds are expected during the Lin-ay sang Negros coronation night on Friday and during the weekend. | GB
