New police chiefs in 5 LGUs

A reshuffling at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) took effect on Jan. 5, following the completion of the tour of duty of five police chiefs.

Affected by the revamp were the police chiefs of Binalbagan, Hinobaan, and Pulupandan towns as well as the cities of Kabankalan and Cadiz.

PLt. Col. Gary Alan Resuma was named acting police chief of Kabankalan City, replacing PLt. Col. Roberto Indiape, who was assigned at the NOCPPO headquarters in Bacolod City.

PLt. Col. John Joe Batusbatusan was replaced by PLt. Col. Lymel John Pasquin as officer-in-charge (OIC) of Cadiz City Police Station.

PMaj. Eric Doronilla took over as the OIC of Hinobaan Municipal Police Station. He succeeded PMaj. Jaynick Bermudez, who was designated as deputy police chief of Sipalay City Police Station.

PCapt. Joelan Vinzon was designated as OIC of the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station while PCapt. Rowell Peniero, as OIC of Pulupandan Municipal Police Station.

Batusbatusan and Indiape along with PMaj. Edfel Balibadlan and PCapt. Rodrigo Martinez, former police chiefs of Binalbagan and Pulupandan, respectively, were assigned at the NOCPPO headquarters pending their new assignments. | GB
