Bacolodnon found dead in Victorias

A 34-year-old Bacolodnon was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound to the head in a sugarcane plantation in Hacienda Angelina 1, Barangay 12, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Oct. 6.

The victim, of Purok Bolinao, Barangay 1, Bacolod, was found lifeless by a farm worker at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, who reported to the police.

The police said the victim had a severe head injury consistent with a gunshot wound. He was wearing a black T-shirt and gray short pants, with several tattoos on various parts of his body.

Barangay 1 officials told the media that the victim was listed in their drug watchlist.

Bacolod City Police Office director, P/Col. Eugene Rebadomia, said Oct. 7 that the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office is conducting the investigation, and the BCPO will provide the needed data.

He said that based on reports, the individual had a prior record with the BCPO, but the case remains under investigation. | TMD
