The Canlaon City government received a dozen mini dump trucks from the provincial government of Negros Oriental, and will distribute these to each of its 12 barangays.
Mayor Batchuk Cardenas thanked Gov. Chaco Sagarbarria for this assistance, and other support to the city.
He said such assistance is a symbol of cooperation between the province and the city to improve the quality of public service.
Sagarbarria, meanwhile, committed to continue providing support for the development of Canlaon, the city said in a press release Sept. 2, adding he acknowledged the mayor’s leadership in guiding residents towards a better and more progressive local government unit. ||
