An unidentified male body was found floating near Carmen Shoal in Barangay Tiglawigan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, morning of Sept. 27.
The body, wearing a black shirt and black shorts, was transported to the Cadiz City Emergency Clinic.
An examination by a medical officer showed the cause of death as asphyxia due to drowning, and that the body had already reached an advanced state of decomposition, with no visible signs of foul play.
Cadiz City Component Police Station investigators are coordinating with neighboring police stations to establish and verify the victim’s identity. | TMD
