Balay Muñeka, a home for dolls, stories, and heritage—honoring memory, creativity, and culture in Silay City, Negros Occidental, was officially unveiled June 11, with the Negros Cultural Foundation Inc. (NCFI) at the forefront.
“As we celebrate 38 years of the Negros Cultural Foundation Inc., Balay Muñeka stands as a heartfelt tribute to collaboration, legacy, and the enduring value of our shared stories,” the NCFI said in a post June 12 and thanked all those who made the project possible.
May Balay Muñeka continue to inspire generations of Totos and Indays to honor the past while dreaming forward, it added.

NCFI president Lyn Gamboa, executive director Tanya Lopez, and secretary Mila Chiu led the event also attended by incoming 3rd District Rep. Javier Miguel Benitez, Silay Vice Mayor Tom Ledesma, Jacinta Isabel Zayco, Ariana Gabrielle Zayco, and renowned artist Charlie Co, among others. | NCFI FB photos
