Victorias City, under the leadership of Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez, in partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), recently facilitated the turnover of checks under the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay program.

A total of P445,000 in livelihood assistance was distributed to 21 returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Victorias City during the turnover ceremony at the 2nd Floor of the City Hall lobby last week.

The initiative aims to support the reintegration of returning OFWs by helping them establish small businesses and regain financial stability after working abroad, the city said.
