The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has conferred the Gawad Serbisyong Mapagkalinga Level 3 to the Victorias City Social Welfare and Development Office during the DSWD Pasidungog 2024 held in Iloilo City on Nov. 22.
Victorias City earned the prestigious distinction of being the Top 2 Local Government Unit (LGU) in the city level of Region 6, with the highest rating among the LGUs with Level 3 Category.
This recognition is the result of the Service Delivery Capacity Assessment conducted by the DSWD for the period of 2022-2023, according to a statement issued by the City Public Information Office.
This esteemed award acknowledges the LGU’s successful attainment in the delivery and implementation of social protection policies, programs, and services.
The recognition reflects Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez’s exceptional leadership and support in the commitment to effective delivery and successful implementation of social welfare and development programs for Victoriasanons, the statement further said. ||
