Negros Oriental Schools Division superintendent, Neri Ojastro, accepted the learning resources and sanitary supplies at the Manjuyod covered court July 2.

The turnover marked a significant event for the community, with Mayor Raffy Andaya and Negros Oriental Governor Chaco Sagarbarria, who both emphasized the importance of education and the acquired wealth of knowledge for the community.

The donation is part of the province’s commitment to providing quality education and ensuring the well-being of students in Manjuyod, a Capitol press release said.

The presence of key government officials also underscored their support for education and health initiatives in the community.

Sagarbarria, meanwhile, presided over the Provincial Development Council’s Executive Committee meeting at the Capitol in Dumaguete City July 2.

It was attended by Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Member Shaquille Teves, Glynda Descuatan, Mabinay Mayor Ernie Uy, and other local and provincial officials.

Discussed during the meeting were various endorsements needed to facilitate the programs, projects, and activities of the current administration. ||
