The Riverside College in Bacolod congratulated its Batch 2023 graduate, Era Samantha Anica Gauma, for making it to Top 7 of the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination, with a rating of 89.60 percent.
“As she steps into the dynamic field of radiologic technology, we are confident that she’ll make a significant impact on the healthcare industry and continue to exemplify our core values of integrity and excellence,” the school posted Dec. 16. “She has not only earned a place in the ranks of excellence but have also become an inspiration for future global leaders and professionals. Your Riverside College family is very proud of you”.
Gauma is among the 2,155 passers out of 3,878 examinees, the Professional Regulation Commission said Dec. 15, adding that Sophia Vien Pereda of Angeles University Foundation topped the exam, with a rating of 91.40 percent.
The PRC also said that 67 out of 235 passed the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination, given by the Board of Radiologic Technology in testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga early this month.
Top 1 was Prince Louise Aplicador of the Wesleyan University Philippines-Cabanatuan City, who earned an 86 percent rating.
Registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done online starting on Feb. 6, while the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later, the PRC said. | CGC
