Food park operations across two main MassKara Festival sites generated a combined P21,504,187 in sales from Oct. 1-18, the Bacolod Gugma Foundation Inc. said Oct. 20.
Consolidated reports submitted by participating concessionaires indicate that total revenues increased by P4.44 million, or about 26.1 percent higher compared to the P17.06 million recorded during MassKara Festival 2025.
The growth was achieved in 18 days, or one day less than the previous year’s 19-day operations.
Food kiosks around the public plaza generated P12,355,582 in total sales, reflecting a 4.1 percent increase from approximately P11.87 million in 2025.
Kiosk operations at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds posted a larger percentage gain, rising 76.3 percent to reach P9,148,605, compared to P5.19 million last year.
Food Kiosks Management head Christopher Mallo noted that the sales figures reflect strong public support for participating concessionaires, and highlight the income opportunities created for local entrepreneurs during the annual celebration.
The current P21.50-million combined total covered only the two festival venues, pending sales reports from food stalls, commercial operations, and brand activations along the Lacson Tourism Strip, with final overall figures to be released once remaining partner-reports are consolidated. | TMD
