4 drug suspects nabbed, P100K in shabu seized

Four individuals were arrested while some P108,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized by the police in a series of buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Dec. 11.

Julius Sia was apprehended at Purok 2 in Barangay Talubangi, Kabankalan City.

Sia, 49, of Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City, was found possessing a caliber .38 revolver with three live ammunition, and about nine grams of suspected shabu valued at P61,200.

Another operation led to the apprehension of Eric Fernandez in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Sagay City, which yielded four grams of suspected shabu worth P27,200.

In Barangay 9, Kabankalan City, farmer Agustin Sulon Jr., 56, of Sitio Ronil, Barangay San Isidro in E.B. Magalona, was collared by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Manuel Lopez for the crime of estafa.

He also yielded a hand grenade and eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at P6,800.

Judge Lopez recommended an P18,000 bail for Sulon.

Shiela Mae Delima was arrested in Purok Pagasa, Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City.

Found in her possession were two grams of suspected shabu worth P13,600, a P500 marked money, and P100 in cash. | GB
