Some P112.63 million in savings from unfilled vacant positions in the Bacolod City government, from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30 this year, has been reverted for the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) of the City Mayor’s Office and payment of loyalty awards, among others.

Undersecretary Zamzamin Ampatuan, who spoke at the opening of the 9th Regional Organic Agriculture Congress held at Negros Residences in Bacolod City, said it is challenge for the DA to remove the viral disease from swine since there is no vaccine yet developed in the country.
