Operatives of Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit seized P714,000 worth of suspected shabu from two persons during a buy-bust at Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2 in Bacolod City on Aug. 28.
Arrested were alias “Irene”, 35, and alias “Roy”, a tricycle driver, both residents of the barangay.
Their apprehension led to the recovery of about 105 grams of suspected shabu valued at P6,800 per gram.
On the same day, four drug suspects were separately arrested by the police in Ilog town and cities of Victorias and Silay in Negros Occidental for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002.
The police confiscated four sachets of suspected shabu. | GB
