A negligible 10-centavo per liter price adjustment for diesel and gasoline will take effect March 19, oil companies said.

Diesel will decrease by P0.10 per liter while gasoline will increase, also by 10 centavos a liter. There will be no movement for kerosene.

Effective March 12, oil companies implemented a per liter decrease of P0.50, P0.25, and P0.30, respectively, for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.

The week-on-week price of Dubai crude has increased by around $1.00 per barrel,” as per the Department of Energy Oil Monitor. “On the contrary, the international price of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene have decreased by almost $1.65, $0.65, and $0.40 per barrel, respectively”.

It added that since the start of this year, gasoline and diesel logged net increases of P5.45/liter and P3.80/liter, respectively. The DOE, meanwhile, noted a net decrease of P0.25/liter in the prices of kerosene. | CGC
