Ysabella Wuthrich, Miss Bacolod MassKara 2025 first runner-up, will be officially sashed as Lin-ay sang Bacolod during the official sashing ceremony this afternoon, March 13, at the Capitol grounds in the city.

As she steps onto the Lin-ay sang Negros stage with 31 other candidates, Ysabella carries with her the pride of Bacolod, the power of resilience, and the belief that art can heal, empower, and inspire. “Bacolod City proudly stands behind her; we continue to rally behind our queen as she represents the City of Smiles with grace, intelligence, and purpose.”

Ysabella, 23, daughter of Joann Visitacion and Edward Wuthrich, completed her Junior and Senior High School at the University of St. La Salle, where she pursued the Arts and Design Strand, nurturing her passion for creativity and self-expression.

She graduated from De La Salle–College of St. Benilde with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation, and was an active student leader.

Guided by her own life experiences, Ysabella champions the advocacy “Healing Through the Arts: Turning Pain into Purpose”, the city said.

Through her advocacy, Ysabella said she hopes to inspire young individuals who may be silently fighting their own battles, and allow them to embrace their individuality and authenticity. ||
