Camp Crame Monday relieved P/Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco as regional police director of Western Visayas.
Francisco is up for promotion, and was designated as officer-in-charge of the Directorate for Operations at Camp Crame.
He is expected to be promoted soon to the rank of major general.
It was not determined, as of this time, who will replace him as WV regional police director.
P/Brig. Gen. Archival Macala, deputy regional director for Administration of Police Regional 6, is temporarily serving as head of PRO6.
The PRO 6 supervises six provincial police offices and two city police offices in Western Visayas./GB
