A watchman was killed, while a minor was injured, in a shooting incident June 7 in Sitio Buyoron, Brgy. Buenavista, Himamaylan City.
According to initial investigations of the Himamaylan City police, the 32-year-old watchman and the minor were riding a bulldozer when the two unidentified armed men opened fire at them.
Both victims were immediately brought to the Himamaylan District Hospital, where the watchman, whose identity is being withheld by the police, was declared dead on arrival.
On the other hand, the 12-year-old victim, who managed to jump off the heavy equipment, sustained a gunshot injury in his right arm.
Police investigation on the incident is ongoing. | GB
