Negrosanon beauties Jarizz Borcelas of Sagay City and Jayra Aliyah Olvinada of Cadiz City, both of Negros Occidental, are among the Top 20 finalists in the Miss Philippines Earth 2022 pageant, with the grand coronation night set August 6 in Coron, Palawan.
The two finalists are both 21 years old.
With their kasimanwas from northern Negros cheering them on, both ladies have gained a following on social media. At the preliminary judging for Beauty of Face and Poise, Jarizz and Jayra were stunning. They captivated the netizens with their elegance and glamour.
Jarizz reigned as Sinigayan Queen in 2018, and was first runner-up in the Lin-ay sang Negros 2019. In 2021, she won the crown in the Miss JCI Visayas competition. She studies English Education at Philippine Normal University Visayas in Cadiz City, where she was elected as Second Year Legislator.
Jayra is a Chemistry student at the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas. She completed her high school studies at Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High School in Cadiz City and went to Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Senior High School.

With their beauty and poise, both earned the nod of judges in the qualifying rounds and made it to the Top 20.
The organizer earlier made headlines when it disqualified three of its official contestants, due to height requirement, in the run-up to the announcement of Top 20 finalists July 15.
