Its construction will start as soon as the special allotment release order from the Department of Budget Management will be released.

Lacson, who was accompanied by Fifth District Board Member Ernesto Bascon at the activity, said that the visit of Sinas will definitely inspire and boost the confidence and morale of the troops in Negros Occidental, given the difficulty and complexity of their present tasks.

He added that the construction of the NOCPPO transient quarters is a sound and practical way of supporting the needs and enhancing the capacities of the police officers in these difficult times.

Lacson also thanked Sinas for his visit to Negros Occidental, and urged everyone to continue to rally behind the Philippine National Police.

“Our present circumstances have demonstrated quite clearly our need for utmost unity and cooperation, if we are to overcome the manifold challenges we are confronted with right now,” he stressed. – GB
