The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Negros Oriental is urging businessmen to transact with them online as it would provide them ease of doing business.
DTI-Negros Oriental provincial director Nimfa Virtucio told the Philippine News Agency on Friday that online transactions would save traders time as they would no longer need to fall in long lines at the business one-stop shop (BOSS) or at their office.
“It is more convenient for those applying for new or renewal of a business permit to transact with us online provided they have the capability for online payment, like GCash or PayMaya,” she said.
Virtucio said applicants for a business name registration certificate can have it printed immediately as the online transaction is operating on real time.
The DTI-Negros Oriental has put up a desk at the BOSS in Dumaguete City along with other line agencies and offices to hasten the business renewal and new permits applications at the start of the year. ||
