Operatives of the Bacolod Police Office Station 7 arrested three street level individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City Saturday afternoon.

The suspects were identified as Jun Mena, 41, of Grandville 1 in Barangay Mansilingan, Alcapon Infante, 26, of Purok Kaingin in Barangay Singcang, and Mark Billiones, 39, of Barangay 1 in Hinobaan town, Negros Occidental.

The three suspects arrested by operatives of Bacolod Police Station 7 led by Lt. Conrado Espino Jr. during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan.

Police Station 7 commander, Lt. Conrado Espino Jr., said the subject of the operation, Joseph Gonzales alias “Banong”, of Sitio Luyang in Barangay Guilungan, Cauayan in Negros Occidental, managed to escape.

Espino added that Gonzales was previously arrested but was freed when he availed of the plea bargaining agreement.

The operation yielded four heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 14 grams and with an estimated street value of P95,000, an improvised glass tooter, digital weighing scale, and P500 in marked money.

Espino said the suspects, who are now detained at the custodial facility of Station 7, and Gonzales, will be charged for violating provisions of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – Mitch Lipa with reports from Archie Alipalo
