Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares called on all unvaccinated Talisaynons to take advantage of the 3-day national vaccination on Nov. 29 and 30, and Dec. 1, so that herd immunity can be achieved as early as possible.
A multi-sectoral team from the city, including officials of the Department of Education, met at the Mayor’s conference room to map out the logistics for the NatVaxDay which will be open to all priority groups, including the rest of the pediatric population 12 to 17 years old.
The meeting was attended by City Health Officer, Dr. Joy Guanzon, Councilor Carl Lizares, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management officer Spyxe Guttierez, assistant city administrator Ismael Penado, Balogo Elementary School principal Lilibeth Cuenca, Tayabas ES principal Rudolph Mendoza, PSDS Talisay II Rene Antenero, and Kathlyn Cabla of the San Fernando Elementary School. — MML
