The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) is seeking a formal explanation regarding delays in the construction of the Bacolod MassKara Coliseum and Museum.
Proponent Councilor Em Ang said during the regular SP session that the project remains unfinished after more than six years of work, and despite the supposed target completion last September.
Ang emphasized the urgent need to finish the facility, noting that the budget was sourced from a city loan.
The city government has called on the contractor, Jejor’s Construction Corporation, alongside the City Engineer’s Office to clarify the project’s status.
The city hopes the project can be completed and be used as venue during the Batang Pinoy National Championships in December. | TMD
