A reward is offered for anyone who can provide solid evidence or identify the suspect/s, who shot a dog in Hda. Puyas, Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental, with darts, or locally called Indian target.
BACH Project PH, a registered all-volunteer nonprofit organization based in Bacolod City, said in its Facebook post Feb. 25 that the reward has increased to P65,000.
An anonymous donor has pledged P10,000 and Senator JV Ejercito also committed P15,000, bringing the total reward to P65,000, for information leading to the identification of the suspect, the group said.

“If you have any information, please come forward. Justice must be served for this innocent dog,” said BACH Project PH in the post, and named the rescued dog as “TikTok”.
Murcia Mayor Gerry Rojas, also in a post last night, said “he strongly condemns the recent act of abject cruelty, and cowardice, against an innocent dog within our community.”
“Such barbaric behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the true values of Murciahanons,” he said.
Rojas also committed P10,000 “to whoever can pinpoint/identify the perpetrators of such a cruel act” and will offer legal services in order to fully prosecute the perpetrators.
He thanked the BACH Project PH for rescuing “TikTok”.
The group said Feb. 24 that the dog was “shot five times with an Indian target and has been in pain since yesterday without medical help.”
“TikTok” was eventually rescued and now in their care.
Those who want to help with TikTok’s care can send donation via the BACH Project PH official GCash account at 0965-801-8292, under Concepcion Bach, the group said.
Since the group received reports that some individuals may be using its photos and falsely claiming to be members of BACH to solicit donations to personal accounts, it urged that before donating, one should always confirm donation through the group’s official channels.
“Be cautious of unsolicited requests. If someone contacts you unexpectedly claiming to represent us, please verify their identity before proceeding. If you encounter suspicious activity or have concerns, please report them to us immediately,” the BACH Project PH stressed. “Your vigilance helps protect our community and ensures that support reaches those in need.” | CGC
