A poultry farm was closed Nov. 14 in Hacienda Timawa, Brgy. XI, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, for lack of business permit, among other violations.
Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the Victorias City Business Permits and Licensing Office in closing the poultry farm, as recommended by the Joint Inspection Team, a statement from the City Information Office said.
Benitez, in his Facebook account, said he is giving importance in pushing for transparency, accountability, and imposing discipline to all public and private establishments in Victorias City.
The closure of the poultry farm was the first to happen under the administration of Benitez./GB
