The spirit of gratitude, unity, and celebration come alive in Cadiz City, with the Pamaskwa sa Cadiznon switch-on ceremony and kiddie foam party Dec. 10 in front of the City Hall.

Cadiz residents and guests were entertained with the stunning fireworks display, and shared in the joyful laughter, and festive cheer, setting the tone for this month of celebration.

In his Christmas message, Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Cadizeños for their unwavering support, highlighting the city’s remarkable achievements and reminding everyone to give thanks to the Almighty for all His blessings.

The event was graced by Vice Mayor Lilia Decolongon, councilors John Vincent Escalante, Marlon Metoda, Lalen Lamis, Frances Guanzon, Kathrina Kaye Gustilo-Balbin, Fria Cristine Cervantes-Napiza, Sheila Tabanao, Maricel Desuyo, and CJ Nido Olvido, and SK Federation president Keanu Sarabia, among others.

The evening was capped off with joy and laughter as kids and families enjoyed the lively foam party, making it a night to remember for all, the city said.

It added that the remaining days of December will be filled with nightly Christmas carols, acoustic performances, school and organization presentations, gift-giving activities, and creative contests, such as the belen-making and parol contest. ||
