Qualified Bacolod City government employees will receive an across-the-board Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive of P30,000, following the passage of an appropriation ordinance Dec. 4.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod approved on first, second, third and final reading, under suspended rules, the allocation of P45 million as CNA incentive for 2025, sourced from the several Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses accounts, per certification by acting city treasurer Jose Maria Gecosala, acting city accountant Jeremae Ann Ceriaco-Florentino, and city budget officer Maria Imelda Williams.

The grant of the incentive is per Budget Circular 2025-2, dated Nov. 19, of the Department of Budget and Management, which states that this one-time benefit shall be granted not earlier than Dec. 15, but not later than Dec. 31, 2025.

“The CNA incentive may be granted to both management and rank-and-file employees…with approved and successfully implemented CNAs in recognition of their efforts in accomplishing performance targets at lesser cost, and in attaining more efficient and viable operations through cost-cutting measures and systems improvement…” the circular states. | CGC
