About P268,600 worth of suspected shabu were seized while six persons were arrested in a series of police buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Feb. 19.
In Purok Malipayon, Barangay Zone 2, Cadiz City, two suspects, including a jobless woman and an agent of Small Town Lottery, were apprehended with 3.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P23,800.
A suspect identified by the police as a certain Ted Agi was arrested in Sitio Cabug, Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City.
He yielded about 16 grams of suspected shabu valued at P108,800.
In Sitio Litib-Litib, Barangay 6, Victorias City, two suspects were also accounted for, with 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 in their possession.
A laborer, who yielded five grams of suspected shabu priced at P34,000, was arrested in Bucros Gamay, Barangay 2, La Carlota City.
All the arrested drug suspects, whose identities have been withheld by the police, are now locked up in jail. | GB
