Various police units arrested 22 drug suspects and recovered P2.6 million worth of suspected shabu in Western Visayas from Aug. 7 to 8.
Of the suspects arrested in 17 police operations, four of them were tagged as high-value individuals while 18 others were classified as street-level individuals, according to a report of the Police Regional Office-6.
The Bacolod City Police Office logged the biggest combined volume of confiscated shabu from three arrested suspects, totaling 122 grams, with a market value of P830,000.
It was followed by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, with 93 grams valued at P632,000.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office reported the arrest of four more drug suspects, which yielded an estimated 11 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P111,814. | GB
