The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 6 officially turned over the P1.52 million Sitio Iliranan Child Development Center in Barangay Codcod to the local government of San Carlos City March 30.

The project was funded through the DSWD6 KApit-bisig LAban sa KaHIrapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services-Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (Kalahi-CIDSS-Pamana) program.

The facility, built from Sept. to Dec. 2024, will serve as a vital resource for early childhood development in the area, the city said.
