The Bacolod City Police Office scored another major accomplishment in the campaign against illegal drugs, following the seizure of more than P700,000 in suspected shabu from two high value individual drug personalities Jan. 30.

Operatives of the BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 3 conducted a buy-bust operation Sunday night at Eroreco Subdivision in Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City, that led to the arrest of Michael Doromal, alias Randy, 18, and John Lloyd Golero, alias Prince, 23, both of the barangay.

P/Lt. Liberty Indiape, BCPO deputy spokesperson, said that the apprehension of the two drug suspects yielded about 110 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P748,000.

PS3 commander, P/Lt. Joeben Mogato, said the suspects sell motorcycle parts in the subdivision, but they were also monitored to be selling prohibited drugs for several months now.

He added that the two have already been considered as drug personalities in the barangays where they used to reside.

Mogato said they are still investigating the drug supplier of the suspects, who are now detained at the custodial facility of Station 3, and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GB,MML
