The Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC) has recorded a 100 percent certification rate among its Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Batch 9 scholars who took the Autodesk Certified User: AutoCAD examination.
The perfect pass rate underscores NOLITC’s commitment to providing industry-aligned technical-vocational education and equipping Negrenses with globally recognized credentials in computer-aided design.
In a statement, NOLITC attributed the achievement to the hard work and dedication of its scholars and the guidance of instructor Michael Fernandez.
The center also acknowledged the support of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.
The certification milestone is expected to enhance the scholars’ credentials and improve their employment prospects in technical and design-related fields.
NOLITC said the achievement supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through access to high-quality technical education and industry-standard certifications; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by developing skills that boost employability; and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by building a workforce capable of using modern technologies in infrastructure, architecture, and design.
The center added that the success of CAD Batch 9 further inspires NOLITC to continue raising the standard of technical education and expanding opportunities for Negrenses. | GPB
