Classes at all levels in public and private schools will remain suspended today, Dec. 11, in La Castellana and La Carlota City, and even until Dec. 13 in Bago City, all due to the Mount Kanlaon eruption and the raising of its alert level to 3.
But it’s back to school for students in Binalbagan, Isabela, and Himamaylan, as per the advisories of their mayors, as of press time.
The Bago City Public Information Office said Dec. 10 that as per the request of DepEd-Bago, acting Mayor Ramon Torres “ordered the extension of the suspension of classes in all levels, including colleges, both public and private, until Friday.”
