The Valley of Peace, a premium park of life developed by Proxima Centauri Realty and Development Corp. in Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City, has new offerings and amenities in line with its commitment to create “a place of remembrance, hope, and togetherness”.
These include Azure 1, a one-storey mausoleum; the two-storey Azure 2, and the premium Nirvana mausoleum, Cathrina Yanson Dumancas, general manager of the Valley of Peace Park of Life, said at the launching July 23.
“Azure 1 is about 35 square meters, very resort style, full of landscaping. It has a very peaceful environment because what we want to do is for families to spend time with the loved ones who have gone before them. Azure 2 is two-storey so families have a little bit bigger place to circulate, an additional space for them to prepare and gather; and the last one is Nirvana, which is 60 square meters, one-storey, this is our grandest and biggest offering,” Dumancas said.

She stressed they make sure that any new offering in the market is a lifetime investment and not filled with shortcuts.
“As with most family-run companies, we do not just think of this as a business because our (family’s) name is also on the line. That is the reason why this investment has really blossomed over the years because the market really sees that we deliver,” she added, noting that when they first started, the lot was worth P32,000 per square meter.
“Today, we are starting at about P125,000, and damu gid gabakal. So, we encourage everyone to reach out to us if they are interested in our offerings so they can be a part of the Valley of Peace,” Dumancas said.
Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas, vice president for Administration and Finance of the GC&C Group of Companies, where Proxima Centauri is a subsidiary, said the vision for Valley of Peace continues under her children’s management. “They will always follow that vision or make it even better for all of us, especially for our brokers and to the people buying.”
Established in 2014, the 34-hectare Valley of Peace is a resort/park-themed park of life and one of the biggest in the Visayas. It has lawn lots, garden lots, and mausoleums, landscape and open spaces, a 24-hour security, adequate parking areas, restrooms, jogging and bicycle path, kiddie park, picnic ground, friendly to pets, and with accessible facilities.
More than a final resting place, the Valley of Peace is a sanctuary where families can gather, find comfort, celebrate cherished memories, and reflect on lives well lived amidst peaceful surroundings, it said in a press release.
“Guided by the tagline, ‘Find your little piece of Heaven’, this park of life offers a serene, resort-inspired environment where families can gather to remember, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those they love,” it added. | CGC
