A motorcycle driver was killed after his vehicle accidentally hit a car travelling in the opposite direction along St. Vincent’s Alijis-Mansilingan Road in Bacolod City, at around 10 a.m. Dec. 15.
Julius Ferrer, 62, of Purok Guanzon in Barangay Alijis, died after his XRM Honda motorcycle, with plate no. FC73650, overtook another vehicle and hit the Honda BRV driven by Charlene Grace Magbanua, 31, of Woodside Subdivision, also in the barangay, the police said.
The Police Station 7 traffic investigation report also said that Ferrer died on the spot, and both vehicles incurred damage. — MML
