Expect fuel prices to have mixed movement, effective tomorrow, Nov. 5, following a slight hike in the last week of October.
Oil companies announced over the weekend that prices of diesel will increase by P0.40 to P0.60 per liter, and kerosene by P0.40 to P0.60/L, while that of gasoline will drop by P0.10 to P0.30/L.
Exact adjustments will be known today, Nov. 4.
This will be the second straight week of increases for both diesel and kerosene, following the P0.50/liter hike effective Oct. 29.
Reports said oil prices continued to climb as a series of airstrikes exchange in the Middle East raised supply concerns.
The Department of Energy said that, since the start of this year, total adjustments for gasoline and diesel stood at a net increase of P8.75/liter and P6.55/liter, respectively, while kerosene logged a total net decrease of P3.10/liter. | CGC
