What’s in the mind of young Negrenses who belong to the ethnic Chinese community as they welcome the Lunar New Year?

NEGROS WEEKLY compiled the thoughts and wishes of these millennials for the New Year after a season of uncertainty amid the pandemic.

I yearn to be more but also to have productive and I can manage my time better. I wish to make the most of this year not only to improve myself but also for others to have a memorable experience after a challenging time. And I wish this year would be a positive one compared to the negativity of 2020. – Johann Samuel Tan

As this pandemic had made a huge impact and difference in the way I used to live before, this year’s wish is to put an end on the global pandemic, experience the face-to-face classes once again and to receive abundant opportunities ahead. – Cheri Chua
