Leading real-estate developer, Megaworld Corporation, is elevating condo living in Bacolod City, with the 14-level Two Regis set for turnover this year.

Harold Geronimo, vice president and head of PR and Media Affairs of Megaworld, said May 2 that Two Regis is the second residential development in the 34-hectare The Upper East township near the Bacolod Government Center.

It boasts of facilities and amenities, like a lap pool, kiddie pool, daycare center, fitness center, and function rooms that can accommodate up to 80 persons in all.

The 14-floor Two Regis at The Upper East Megaworld features amenities and facilities that elevate condo living in Bacolod.

The landscaped sky gardens at the eighth and 12th floors are unique features of Two Regis, with a high-ceiling lobby with a guest lounge, reception counter, baggage holding area, and mail room, as well as three passenger elevators, and audio phone security connecting the reception counter to all residential units, among others.

There are 310 units at Two Regis, ranging from studio with balcony, executive studio, executive studio with balcony, one bedroom with balcony, and two-bedroom units with views of the Negros Mountain Ranges, the Guimaras Strait, and the rest of The Upper East and Bacolod surrounds.

The objective of Megaworld is to elevate condo living in Bacolod, the same as what has been done in various townships across the Philippines, Geronimo said. “This is an opportune time to really showcase something that would elevate the way condo living needs to be done in a highly-urbanized city, like Bacolod.”

He added that a lot of single professionals, those who want to be independent, want to stay in a condo. “We’re riding on the waves of the condo market. Whatever the market needs, Megaworld will provide.”

Geronimo, who led a tour of Two Regis May 2, also said the company will be building more residential towers because of such demand.

The first residential condominium completed at The Upper East was One Regis. Aside from Two Regis, the others being developed are One Manhattan, Herald Parksuites, and Kensington Sky Garden. | CGC
