Former Murcia mayor Esteban “Sonny” Coscolluela, spokesman for the BBM-Sara campaign in Negros Occidental, said it is up to the 28 mayors of the province, who pledged to support the Marcos-Duterte tandem, to deliver the votes for them.
Coscolluela said that while he respects the number of the crowd during the March 11 People’s Rally of the Leni-Kiko Team at the Paglaum Stadium in Bacolod City, he said he believes that caravans and rallies are not the measurement or gauge on who is going to win the elections in a particular area.
He added that based on the exchanges on social media from the BBM supporters, a lot of voters have already made up their minds on who to support on May 9.
Coscolluela thanked the supporters of the Marcos-Duterte tandem for being “cool” by not committing any unruly action during the Leni-Kiko rally and caravan.
Earlier, Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said that a big rally for the BBM-Sara tandem is set in Negros Oriental and other senatorial candidates of the UniTeam are scheduled to revisit Negros Occidental for their own sorties. |MML
