The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said it is currently finalizing all the processes in the major digital shift to improve its services.

“We are working under the marching order of the President for the digital transformation of all government services,” LTFRB chairperson, Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, said in a statement Jan. 3. “In the case of the LTFRB, our goal is to fully implement the online application and verification of all applications, petitions, motions and other transactions.”

“We are preparing the LTFRB for the future generations of digitally adept Filipinos. In the fast-changing digital environment, the LTFRB must keep up to meet the high demands and expectations of the Filipino people,” he added.

The digital transformation of the Bureau is symbolic as the country is currently pursuing to convert the transportation into a modern and reliable system. “The digital transformation must be pushed side by side with Public Transport Modernization Program.”

The LTFRB is also embarking on the online verification of Certificate of Public Convenience and Provisional Authority in order to cut short the entire process of applying, approving, and release of authority to operate for public utility vehicles, Mendoza added. “We are looking forward to a more productive 2026 in terms of improving and modernizing the public land transportation system in the country.” ||
